Brandon Tyer grew up duck hunting in east Texas and has hunted waterfowl across the country. Joe Dan Rogers learned to hunt from his grandfather on Lake Texoma itself—he's hunted everything from deer and elk to upland game across the U.S. and fished offshore in the Caribbean. Together, the guides bring over 75 years of collective hunting experience.
"Safety is our number one priority." The guides follow all Oklahoma game laws and show skill in duck calling, decoy placement, location, and shooting.
Axle, a Deutsch Drahthaar versatile hunting dog with championship-level training, is part of your hunt. He retrieves waterfowl at dawn, hunts upland game, and can blood-track wounded deer—all in the same day. Dogs cannot stay in the main lodge due to health codes, but Axle hunts with you.
