TL Guided Hunts operates the Lotspeich Ranch, established in 1903 and under guided hunting management for the last 32 years. Located in northwest Harper County along the Kansas border near Rosston, the ranch spans 6 miles long by 2 miles wide with the Cimarron River running through the middle. They manage over 60,000 additional acres across Harper, Beaver, Ellis, and Woodward counties for turkey hunting.
The ranch has been highly managed the last 45 years with limited hunting pressure—making it a genuine refuge for trophy whitetail bucks and wild upland birds.
Every hunt includes: - Professional guides (2-on-1 for turkey hunts) - Professional gun dogs from their kennels - Lodging at the ranch - Home-cooked meals - Transportation to and from the field - Birds cleaned and bagged (upland hunts) - Free airport shuttle from Buffalo, Oklahoma (4,000 ft paved runway)
Check-in is 5:00 p.m. the day before your hunt. Dinner is expected.
The north side of the Cimarron River features rolling sand hills covered in sagebrush, plum thickets, food plots, wild sunflowers, ragweed, and native forbs. The south side adds brushy cover and adjoining wheat, alfalfa, and milo fields. The ranch has been leased to single management for 15 years, taking only mature bucks.
Access to 12,000 acres plus 60,000 additional acres with tree rows, rivers, creeks, farm ponds, and grain-fed cattle grounds—ideal nesting and mating habitat for Rio Grande gobblers.
Western Oklahoma's sandhills covered in sagebrush and plum thickets alongside sunflowers, milo, wheat, millet, and wild prairie grass create ideal quail habitat.
Ringneck Pheasant: - Season: December 1 to January 31 - Limit: 2 cocks per day

The Lotspeich Ranch terrain is naturally excellent for whitetail deer and upland bird hunting. No through-roads and only 2 access roads make it a genuine refuge. The combination of rolling sandhills, brush thickets, river bottoms, and agricultural crops creates diverse habitat where deer travel significant distances during the rut, including whitetails from south Kansas that cross the border.
