Full description and what to expect
Siuslaw Rod & Gun Club runs a cowboy action match in November—fast-paced rifle and pistol shooting against the clock using period-correct firearms. This is practical competition where accuracy and speed both count, and you'll see how your marksmanship holds up under pressure.
The match format follows standard cowboy action stages: multiple targets, moving between positions, and shooting from different stances. It's the kind of event where you learn what works and what doesn't, surrounded by shooters who actually know their guns.
