Full description and what we offer
Master Predator Hunting operates premium guided hunts for coyote, bobcat, red fox, and grey fox across Pennsylvania. Everything is all-inclusive—you show up with a valid hunting license and the guide handles the rest: firearms, ammunition, thermal optics, calls, shooting supports, drinks, snacks, and professional photos of any harvest.
Hunts target the northeastern coyote/coywolf, widely considered North America's wariest predator. Research shows over 80% of coyote movement happens after dark, so hunts begin about 30 minutes after sunset (flexible timing available).
You'll use premium thermal scopes and scanners that turn night into day. Two-person hunts include a second thermal scanner for your partner. The guide provides precision firearms with custom-loaded ammunition, RRS field shooting supports, and professional-grade optics.
Season runs September through March. You need either a Pennsylvania Furtaker License or General Hunting License (both purchasable locally or online). Multi-day hunts up to five consecutive days available. Two-person hunts offered at an additional fee.
Over 70% of first-time hunters book another hunt with us.
These are winter adventures (early January through early February) in remote Pennsylvania forest, often in snow and cold conditions. Hunts can last up to 12 hours. The guide imitates distress sounds and may use motion decoys to call in bobcats.
Physical requirement: Moderate walking and ability to sit/stand for over an hour at each location. Equipment provided includes semi-automatic shotguns, premium F4 Defense AR-10s, or custom bolt-action rifles—all topped with thermal scopes.
Only six fully guided bobcat hunts are offered each season and often sell out a year in advance. Requires a valid bobcat permit (purchased July 1–November 30; no draw system). Hunters can also harvest other predators (fox, coyote) while bobcat hunting.
Highest success rate of all species hunted. Ideal for newcomers to predator hunting, children, and anyone who wants fast-paced action. Red fox populations on the guide's properties are consistently high.
Hunts begin shortly after dusk using precision rifles mounted on stable professional shooting tripods. You'll use calling techniques to imitate prey distress sounds. You can harvest all legal predators that respond (coyote, raccoon, etc.).
Two packages: - Full Hunt: Five farms, professional photos - Premium Hunt: Seven farms, professional photos, plus hunt guarantee—if no fox is called in within seven sets, the hunt continues at no cost until successful
Only license needed is a Pennsylvania Furtaker License (fox season: late October through mid-February). Two-person and multi-day hunts available.
Available upon request for any package listed above. No hunt guarantee due to lower density, but the guide has carefully selected properties that produce opportunities.
Beyond standard hunts, the guide offers tailored experiences including:

For bobcat hunts, the guide scouts year-round, walking many miles to locate sign, and maintains up to 18 game cameras to identify active bobcat locations.
