Western Style Action Shooting at Langhorne Rod & Gun Club

<p>OPEN TO THE PUBLIC</p><p>$10 members, $5 Jr members, $15 non-members, $12 non-members under 18</p><p><br></p><p>The Western Style Action ShootingMatch will consist of 4 stages of fire</p><p>All SASS rules, scoring, andsafety protocols will be in effect. </p><p> </p><p>Gates openat 7:30 am, registration begins at 8:00 am, mandatory Cowboy Safety meeting onthe range at 8:45 am. </p><p> </p><p>Contact Dave Steen ([email protected])with any questions. </p><p> </p><p>Matches will usually be completedby 12:00 pm. </p><p> </p><p>Shootersmust have the necessary guns for Cowboy Action Shooting, <b>NO MAGNUM LOADS</b>:</p><p>- Two (2)Single Action revolvers (if you only have one pistol the stage will be adjustedfor you and your score will go into the Sodbuster division)</p><p>- A leveraction rifle chambered in a center-fire / rim-fire <b>pistol</b> cartridge</p><p>- Allrifle and pistol ammo are Lead cast only No Jacketed ammo.</p><p>- ASASS-compliant Shotgun (We are not too strict here but no semi auto’s)</p><p> -Winchester ‘97</p><p> -Doubles – No Ejectors are allowed torun in the Scoring division</p><p>-side by side coach gun</p><p> -O/Uguns are fine also</p><p>-7/12 leadshot or smaller</p><p>Typical roundcount per match is</p><p>· 40 Rifle</p><p>· 40 Pistol</p><p>· 16 Shotgun</p><p>Sometimes there is a bonus round</p><p> </p><p><u>We encourage spectators to comeand see how we play the game.<br></u></p>
