Location details and information
Carlisle Gun Club is a private indoor pistol range in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, part of the community since 1937 and incorporated in 1944. It is affiliated with the National Rifle Association, the William Penn Pistol League, a local 22lr pistol competition among clubs in south central Pennsylvania, and the Civilian Marksmanship Program. The club competes in WPPL home matches against other regional clubs.
All instructors are NRA Certified Instructors and all range safety personnel are NRA certified Range Safety Officers. Because the club's facilities limit the kinds of live-fire instruction that can be run on site, its main focus is handgun classes, taught in sequence: Basics of Pistol Shooting, Personal Protection In the Home and Personal Protection Outside the Home.
