Full description and what we offer
Coal Fork Outfitters operates out of the Bear Mountain CWMU ranch in central Utah, just east of Mt. Pleasant on the Manti La Sal National Forest—about 60 miles south of Provo. They run fair chase hunts for Rocky Mountain elk and mule deer with guaranteed permits through Utah's cooperative wildlife management program.
Lance Hansen brings over 30 years of big game hunting and guiding experience across the western U.S. He worked 10 years for Bucks & Bulls Guides & Outfitters before starting Coal Fork, and has personally hunted elk, mule deer, antelope, whitetail, and bears across multiple western states. He's based in Spanish Fork with his wife Alisha and four kids.
Kaycee Feild is a 6X world champion bareback rider (the most in history) who brings his champion mindset and expert horsemanship to the operation. He was raised following his father Lewis Feild, a 5X world champion rodeo cowboy, and now applies that discipline to guiding. He lives in Genola with his wife Stephanie and three children.
