Eastern Tailz Outfitters is a family-owned charter service operating out of North Myrtle Beach and Little River. Captain Joe Ziegler and his team have spent nearly three decades running fishing and duck hunting trips across South Carolina's waters.
Fishing Charters - Inshore trips: Backwater redfish and flounder in calm water—ideal for families and first-timers - Nearshore charters: 12–25 miles offshore hunting king mackerel, cobia, and Spanish mackerel - Offshore/Gulf Stream: Deep water runs for mahi-mahi, tuna, grouper, and snapper - Shark fishing trips: Specialized shark charters for the serious hunter
Duck Hunts - Wood duck and sea duck hunts - Full guidance on SC hunting licenses and federal duck stamps - Cleaning and packaging services available
Every charter comes with rods, reels, bait, and all tackle. Crew handles fish cleaning and packaging per state regs. No fishing license required—you're covered under the captain's. Kids 5+ are welcome on inshore and nearshore trips.
Pricing starts at: $500 for 4-hour inshore (up to 3 guests) | $850+ nearshore | $1,800–$2,200 offshore | $600–$900 duck hunts
Weather safety comes first. If conditions turn unsafe, you reschedule or refund—no exceptions.
Operating areas include North Myrtle Beach, Little River, Cherry Grove, and Calabash. All skill levels accepted, from absolute beginners to seasoned anglers. They monitor marine forecasts constantly and adjust plans accordingly.
