Deep South Hunting Services operates guided hunts across Bamberg, South Carolina's Lowcountry terrain—sandy pine hills, hardwood drains, and swamps loaded with White-Tail deer, Eastern Wild Turkeys, and Wild hogs. They've been running this operation for over two decades with a straightforward approach: small groups, personal attention, and genuine Southern hunting camp atmosphere.
Your group gets the entire lodge to yourselves. No mixing with other hunters. They keep numbers small on purpose—maximum 8 hunters for deer and hog hunts, just 4 for turkey hunts—to maintain the quality of the hunting grounds and the experience.
When you arrive, expect a clean, comfortable lodge and a warm greeting. They'll walk you through camp guidelines, give you a lodge tour, and take you to the shooting range to check your zero before the hunt starts.
They handle the full operation:
- •Personal escort to your stand with all gear in place
- •Recovery and transport of any successful harvest to the processor
- •Professional hunt photos
- •Return transport to the lodge
After each day, hunters gather back at the lodge to share stories—kitchen stove conversations, back porch grilling, the full hunting camp experience.
