Tusk Defense operates as a full-custom 1911 manufacturer based out of a small shop in the woods of South Carolina. They build handguns for shooters who want exceptional accuracy, long-term reliability, and classic design that lasts decades.

Every gun includes: - 25 LPI checkering - 40 LPI rear slide serrations - Undercut trigger guard - 4.5lb trigger pull - Beveled magazine well - Lowered and beveled ejection port - Match-grade barrel and bushing fit

Tusk's order form lets you customize nearly every aspect of your 1911:

Base price: $2,900–$3,100 for any model. Custom options adjusted in writing once the order is finalized.

Tusk offers standalone bluing for any firearm (free on Tusk builds). Three finishes available:

• •Classic Standard – Corrosion and scratch resistance, custom finish
• •Matte – Bead-blasted and blued for a flat look
• •High Polish – Deep, high polished blue

Services run $110–$250 for barrels, $120–$250 for full packages, $75 for nitre blue small parts.
