Location details and information

Broxton Bridge Plantation is a world-class shooting facility and historic 6,000-acre estate in Ehrhardt, South Carolina, family-owned and operated by the Varn family for eleven generations. This premier destination combines exceptional clay target shooting with full-service accommodations and outdoor recreation.

The plantation features a state-of-the-art 15-station sporting clays course equipped with dual Promatic Matrix NT trap machines and Claymate Wi-Card clay counting controllers at each station. Shooters experience diverse target presentations that simulate real hunting conditions—from fast-flying crossers to unpredictable bouncing targets.

Additional shooting options include: - Helice clay target range for high-speed clay shooting - Professional wing-shooting instruction for shotgun technique refinement - Hunting opportunities for deer and hog during South Carolina seasons

The course welcomes walk-ins with no reservations required (Wednesday–Sunday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; Monday–Tuesday members only). Non-member pricing is $0.55 per clay target. Annual memberships ($300 first year, $250 renewal) include direct family members and offer bulk target discounts, ammunition discounts, and members-only shooting days.

Broxton Bridge offers lodge accommodations and an RV park with full hookups along the scenic Salkehatchie River. The property includes updated bathhouse facilities, horse corrals, and event space suitable for corporate meetings, seminars, and private functions.

Beyond shooting, guests enjoy horseback trail riding, fishing access to the Salkehatchie River, and proximity to a 2,600-foot airstrip. The plantation also hosts regular tournaments, charity shoots, and open competitions throughout the year.
