Greenville Gun Club operates as a private shooting facility with outdoor ranges for pistol, rifle, archery, trap, skeet, and 5-stand shooting. The club also maintains dedicated tactical bays for competitors running 2-gun matches, Cowboy Action (SASS) events, and CPSL tournaments.
The club's membership application process is designed around safety verification:
1. Submit application online — $150 non-refundable application fee 2. Verify firearm eligibility — Bring one of these credentials to your class: - Current SC Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) - Class I law enforcement credentials (active duty) - SC SLED background check - FBI background check (dated within 6 months) 3. Pass the safety test — Read the Range Safety Rules, take the online test 4. Attend 3-hour orientation — Safety class, facility tour, Q&A on rules 5. Pay final fees — $350 for 2026 membership
Credentials are typically mailed within 1-2 weeks after approval and payment.
Members have access to all club ranges and can participate in scheduled competitions and events. The club maintains an event calendar and hosts regular tournaments throughout the year.
