River Bend Sportsman's Resort sits on 550 rolling acres near Inman, SC, offering everything from guided hunts to clay shooting instruction. This isn't a small range—it's a full destination with hunting, shooting sports, overnight lodging, and multiple dining options on-site.
River Bend specializes in four main game birds:
You can bring your own dogs or hunt behind River Bend's trained dogs and guides. Half-day and full-day packages are available, or build custom hunts to match what you want.
General Manager Brian Sullivan runs the hunting and sporting operations. He was raised in the Upstate, spent years training hound dogs, English setters, pointers, and labs before working 14 years in the hunting industry at Toney Creek plantation in Belton, SC. He's also a firefighter and former prison chaplain.
River Bend recently completed a full renovation with: - All new covered shooting stations - Wireless card system - Brand new MEC target throwers - New rental carts included with entry
Shooters pick their own yardage—shoot a 50-round or 100-round course, or "free-style" and pay per target. Solo shooting is allowed with preset delays and shooting controls.

The Paragon School of Sporting operates at River Bend under Dan Schindler's direction. Schindler holds U.S. and British credentials, authored two wingshooting books, and regularly publishes in Sporting Clays Magazine.
