Central Carolinas Shooting Club

Central Carolinas Shooting Club operates two primary competitive shooting events:

• •1st Saturday: Steel Challenge (speed shooting with standardized steel targets)
• •2nd Saturday: IDPA (defensive shooting scenarios rooted in self-defense training)

Matches run year-round at 4955 Tinker Creek Road, Edgemoor, SC, conveniently located between the Charlotte, NC and Columbia, SC areas.

Speed shooting competition with five runs per stage; lowest time is dropped. Shooters are classified by the Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA). Valid USPSA/SCSA membership required for official scoring. Online registration via PractiScore closes at 7 PM the day before match day.

Designed for new and intermediate shooters but with depth for advanced competitors. Engages defensive-based scenarios with varying target orders, distances, and situations. IDPA membership required (but three matches allowed before joining). Same PractiScore registration system.

Central Carolinas Shooting Club consists of people who enjoy participating in and promoting safe challenging shooting events.

The club enforces the four cardinal rules at all times: 1. Treat all guns as if they are loaded 2. Never let the muzzle point at anything you don't want to destroy 3. Keep finger off trigger until sights are aligned with target 4. Know your target and what is beyond and in front

Eye and ear protection required for all participants and spectators.

• •Non-members can participate but pay slightly higher match fees

All matches use PractiScore for registration and real-time scoring. Register during the week prior to each match; walk-ins accepted first-come, first-served if space allows.
