Riverside Lodge

Riverside Lodge started in 1961 and has been running guided hunts from their Lake Dauphin location since then. Gildas, Joanne, and their family own and operate the lodge. They don't make promises about harvesting game, but they do guarantee clean accommodations, excellent meals, strict safety practices, and knowledgeable guides who know the land.

The lodge hires only guides with years of experience and genuine passion for the game they pursue. They manage safety strictly, select the right equipment, and handle navigation to productive areas. Many hunts are exclusive—you might only see the people you had breakfast with that morning.

• •From Winnipeg: Take Highway 1 west to Portage La Prairie. Take Highway 16 (Yellow Head) to Neepawa, then Highway 5 north to Dauphin. Drive north on Highway 20 for 11 miles to Road 160, turn east and drive 3.5 miles to Zirhul Road, then follow the lodge lane north.
