Korkow Ranch

Korkow Ranch has been part of the Pierre area since 1897, when neighbors recognized the land's hunting potential. The Korkow family purchased the property starting in the late 1930s and have been building it into one of South Dakota's best pheasant destinations ever since.

The ranch spans thousands of acres developed specifically for pheasant habitat. They've planted over 9,000 trees in shelterbelts since 2004, added 70+ acres of CRP grassland, and continue expanding cover for nesting and roosting. This isn't just hunting—it's land management.
