Location details and information
The South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance opened as a destination unlike any other in the region—a place where a state-of-the-art shooting range sits alongside a military heritage museum, restaurant, lounge, and event spaces. It's designed to be exactly what its name suggests: a physical and cultural hub where veterans, active military, and civilians come together.
Shooting & Training - State-of-the-art shooting range - Gun range and armory facilities - Space for military training events
Dining & Social - The Patriot Grill (full kitchen) - Club Lobo lounge and bar - The Hangar Gift Shoppe - Coffee Club
Events & History - Military Heritage Theater - Event center for veteran and military causes - Community patriotic celebrations - Field trips for local school groups
"A Place for Freedom, A Place to Remember, A Place for All"
The Alliance operates on a straightforward goal: create a destination that weaves the civilian community into the military and veteran experience. This means supporting proactive veteran health services, honoring those who served, and building what's intended to become a national model for how military, veteran, and civilian relationships should work.
The facility specifically focuses on employment opportunities for veterans and support services for those who've served.
