Full description and what we offer
Reelfoot Lake sits at the heart of North America's heaviest waterfowl migration path. An 1800s earthquake sank swampland in northwest Tennessee, creating what would become a waterfowl powerhouse. The lake is surrounded by multiple state and federal refuges, with the Mississippi River just west—conditions that funnel ducks and geese across predictable flight paths all season.
Quake Lake Outfitters' full-day hunts run $300 per day with lodging. That covers:
You'll hunt mallards, pintails, gadwall, teal, ringnecks, and wigeon. Depending on the season, you might also connect with shovelers, canvasbacks, redheads, bluebills, goldeneyes, buffleheads, black ducks, wood ducks, snow geese, and Canadian geese.
Hunters need to bring their own shotgun, ammunition, valid licenses, and weather-appropriate clothing. No waders required.
> "Took my 9 year old son this weekend with QLO and had an awesome time. Birds flew all day and popped up out of nowhere. We killed specks, mallards, teal, gadwall, ringnecks, and wigeon. 5 star guys whether the birds come in or not it's a great experience." — Joel, South Carolina
> "I had a wonderful time and was able to bring home my limits for both days. The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I had. I will definitely be back soon." — Xavier, Georgia
The operation books multiple hunts each season and accommodates hunters of all experience levels—solo hunters, families with kids, and experienced crews. Deposit $300 to lock in your dates for the 2024/2025 season.
