Full description and what we offer
The Tennessee Firearms Association (TFA) is a grassroots advocacy organization dedicated to defending and promoting the right to keep and bear arms for Tennessee residents. While primarily known as a 501(c)(4) non-profit advocacy group rather than a traditional shooting range, TFA serves as a vital resource hub for firearms enthusiasts, hunters, and civil rights advocates across Tennessee.
Founded as a Tennessee not-for-profit corporation, the Tennessee Firearms Association works to restore government accountability and uphold the original intent of the Bill of Rights, with special emphasis on the 2nd and 10th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution and Article I, Section 26 of the Tennessee Constitution.
TFA operates as a members-only organization with chapters throughout Tennessee, including the Nashville Area Chapter and Sumner County Area. Membership provides access to exclusive resources, legislative advocacy updates, and networking opportunities with fellow gun owners and rights advocates.
The association offers members comprehensive support including: - Legislative advocacy and direct contact with state representatives - Educational resources on Tennessee and federal firearms laws - Information on civilian permits and reciprocity agreements - Guidance for hunters, collectors, and competitive shooters - Access to member-only promotions and forums - Training and shooting sports information
TFA is recognized as Tennessee's only full-time organization dedicated to defending firearms rights. With experienced leadership working directly with Tennessee's General Assembly, TFA combines grassroots efforts with professional advocacy to expand, restore, and secure Second Amendment protections throughout the state.
