Location details and information
The Range is a handgun training facility in Tennessee, built around a structured, step-based progression of one-on-one pistol courses.
The core curriculum runs through four steps: an entry-level course covering safe handgun handling and shooting basics, a fundamentals course covering grip, stance, aiming, and clearing malfunctions with live-fire practice, a holstered-handgun course introducing holster technique and movement while shooting, and an intermediate self-defense course covering shooting from multiple positions, partner drills, and situational awareness.
The Range also teaches Tennessee's state-required Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit course, covering handgun safety and legal responsibilities, with a written test and a shooting qualification required to earn the permit. Personalized private lessons and one-on-one gun-fitting sessions are available, along with state-mandated unarmed and armed security guard training that covers firearm handling, safety, marksmanship, and a shooting qualification on the range.
