Castaway Lodge

Castaway Lodge sits on 3.5 acres in Seadrift with 700 feet of bayou frontage and 15,000 square feet of facilities. They operate guided hunts year-round across Texas' prime waterfowl and game zones, plus Mexico packages for serious hunters.

• •Alligator Hunts: 100% success ratio using spot-and-stalk, baiting, and line-running techniques ($1,250 per gator, tag included)
• •Hog Hunts: Night vision spot-and-stalk hunts ($475/person)
• •Dove & Early Teal: Single hunts or multi-day packages in Texas and Mexico
• •Mexico Packages: White-wing dove hunts (3 or 6-hunt packages from $2,000) and duck hunts (4 or 6-hunt packages from $4,450/gun)

Shotgun rental fleet includes Beretta, Retay, Remington Versa Max, and V-12 autos, plus 12 and 20-gauge options

Waders, windproof Sitka jackets, and ammunition (12 and 20-gauge, 3" shells available) can all be rented on-site. Gun rentals run $75 per day. Guests can ship their own gear ahead to 109 W. Austin, Seadrift, Texas 77983 for pickup after the hunt.

Most hunts include lodging and meals at the lodge. Minimum party sizes range from 2-4 hunters depending on package. Peak season (Nov-Dec) offers discounted rates. Gate fees apply separately.
