JGL Hunting operates guided deer hunts on family property straddling the famous Red River between North Texas and Oklahoma. The land features thick brush, multiple deer travel routes, and open wheat fields—the kind of terrain that produces consistent whitetail hunting throughout the season.
Greg Graham has 20+ years hunting experience across deer, wild pigs, and predators. He's transitioned to traditional bow hunting but remains fluent with firearms and actively hunts pigs.
Lance James brings 20+ years of hunting experience plus 8 years of military firearms training. He's spent most of his life hunting North Texas wildlife and knows the local patterns.
The property maintains a healthy whitetail population year-round through active land management:
- •Average bucks: 8-point classic whitetails
- •Mature deer: Several 10-14 point bucks available annually
- •Does: Unlimited hunting for meat hunts or package deals
- •Free-range: Deer have river access and natural movement corridors

You can butcher animals yourself in their covered, enclosed facility—or they'll teach you how if you want to learn.
- •You handle: Texas hunting license/tags, snacks/drinks, rain gear, your own firearms (if bringing one)
- •They provide: On-site transportation, guided hunting, rifle rental if needed, game processing options
- •You arrange: Lodging near Vernon or Quanah TX, food beyond hunt-day snacks
- •Most hunts run 2-3 days, but day hunts possible—contact them
- •They hunt in almost all weather except extreme winds/lightning
- •Non-hunters welcome with advance notice (limited per hunter)
- •Video and photography encouraged
- •Meet in Chillicothe TX, then drive to hunting areas
- •If an animal can't be recovered, it counts against your package—but they'll work with you on rescheduling or making it up
