San Juan Ranch has been operating guided hunts and wildlife experiences since the late 1930s, when it was partitioned from a larger South Texas estate. The property is completely high-fenced, free of cattle, and actively managed for wildlife production.
- •Game species: Whitetail deer, nilgai, Rio Grande turkeys, wild hogs, javelinas, and quail. The ranch also hosts native reptiles, birds, and plants typical to South Texas brush country.
Infrastructure: - Modern hunting lodge with accommodations - Multiple deer blinds - Three man-made ponds plus one natural water area - Food plots and protein feeders (all-season) - Game cleaning room - Historic 1920s-era corral
They run guided hunts for both novice and experienced hunters. Separate from hunts, the ranch offers wildlife tours on Mondays and Wednesdays, 10am-1pm.
The property is managed specifically for wildlife conservation and preservation—game is in excellent condition year-round.
