Full description and what we offer
Tejas Waterfowl operates guided hunting trips based out of Lubbock, Texas, offering some of the best crane and goose hunting the Texas Panhandle has to offer. The operation runs from November through December with consistent availability, and they maintain a full hunting lodge that sleeps up to 14 guests.
Sandhill Cranes - Crane hunting has become one of the fastest-growing waterfowl pursuits, and Tejas knows why: they decoy exceptionally well. The Texas Panhandle winters thousands of these birds. Tejas uses high-quality gear and maintains excellent concealment to take advantage of cranes' intelligence. Most hunts involve sitting over decoys watching these birds bank hard and commit.
Lesser Canada Geese - If you want in-your-face action, goose hunting with Tejas is exactly that. They hunt over decoys in spreads across West Texas winter wheat fields and open areas. Multiple limits in a morning is typical during peak season.
Dove Hunting - West Texas dove season is fast, action-packed wing shooting. Most dives take place within 30 minutes of Lubbock in sunflower fields, sorghum fields, and watering holes. Hunters routinely fill their 15-dove limit in a couple hours or less. They accommodate parties of any size since the fields have no shortage of birds.
The hunting lodge sleeps up to 14 people with: - 5 bedrooms - 5 private bathrooms - Great room with Direct TV and WiFi - Full kitchen with breakfast and dinner included on full packages - Comfortable base for multi-day hunts
