TX Outfitters, based in Kamloops, BC, specializes in guided big game hunts across North Central British Columbia's Cariboo Mountains. Owners Tyler and Christina bring over a decade of combined adventure tourism and hunting experience to every expedition.

• •Canadian Moose - Mid-September through early November. Bulls average 45+ inches with some exceeding 50". Hunts run 10 days plus travel days. Conducted via horseback through remote valleys, off-road vehicle access, waterway boats, or foot hunting in meadows. Available as 1-on-1 ($12,500) or 2-on-1 ($11,500/person). All prices in US funds, plus licenses and tags.

• •Black Bear - Spot-and-stalk hunts in spring (mid-May through June, 5 days) or fall (mid-August through November). Spring bears cruise old logging roads and avalanche chutes. Motorized vehicle or horseback options. Spring rates: 1-on-1 ($5,000) or 2-on-1 ($4,500/person). Fall hunts pair well with moose or goat expeditions.

• •Mountain Goat - Mid-August through mid-October. Physically demanding hunts in rugged alpine terrain. Typically 10-day expeditions from remote wall tent spike camps, accessed by horseback, hiking, or 2WD off-road motorcycle. 1-on-1 only at $12,500. Considered some of the toughest hunts BC offers.

• •Additional Species - Deer and wolf hunts available. Additional harvest fees apply ($2,000 for second black bear or deer).

Access methods include horseback, hiking, 4x4 ATV, 2WD Rokon motorbike, jetboat, riverboat, and canoe. Trip structure adapts to terrain and conditions.

Accommodation options: - Main Lodge - Remote lakeside basecamp with guest cabins, woodstove heating, cedar-lined shower cabin with hot water year-round, family-style meals in full kitchen - Spike Camp - Wall tents with cots/mattresses, wood stove or camp stove cooking, set up for multi-day hunts - Backcountry Camping - Lightweight tents and camp stoves for river-based hunts with daily movement

Every hunt is fully customized to meet individual needs and fair-chase methods. Non-hunting companions welcome to turn hunts into family vacations. Year-round adventures span spring bear season through summer adventures, fall hunting, and winter trapline expeditions. All ages and abilities accommodated.
