Waterfowl Specialties started in 1984 under legendary outfitter Terry Karstedt. Now operated by his nephew Mitchell Holder—a 20-year veteran guide—the operation has built its reputation on consistent access to quality hunting in the heart of the Texas Rice Belt.

Only 40 miles from the Gulf Coast, the area draws an abundance of wintering waterfowl. You're hunting blue-wing teal, snow geese, and everything in between. Dove hunting is equally strong. All hunts are professionally guided.
