Corpus Christi Gun Club operates as a member-directed, professionally managed 188-acre facility entirely dedicated to the shooting sports. Their range infrastructure is extensive:
- •Rifle: 50, 100, 200-yard target distances with 16 benches
- •Pistol: 25-stall covered bay with target retrieval (1-15 yards), plus five pistol/22LR bays and multi-use bays (30-100 yards)
- •Shotgun: 5 skeet fields with trap overlay, five-stand field, typical daily setup: 2 trap, 3 skeet
- •Sporting Clays: 16 stations across 45 acres with 3 machines per station
- •Sanctioned competition shoots (CC Steel Challenge, NSSA, ATA, NSCA registered events)
- •State-mandated hunter education classes
- •License to carry handgun instruction
- •Clubhouse and classroom facilities
- •Home base for Nueces County 4-H Trap and Skeet
Pistol and rifle areas limited to members and escorted guests only—no day passes for these ranges.
