Eagle Peak Shooting Range sits 20026 Lindeman Ln in Leander, northwest of Austin between Cedar Park and Lago Vista. They've been running continuously since 1984 and operate 10AM-6PM every single day—no closed Mondays, no holiday breaks. No reservations required; just show up.
Your admission covers:
- •Pistol range with 7, 15, and 25-yard positions
- •Rifle range with 50, 100, 200, and 300-yard positions
- •Clay target shooting with nine spring-loaded throwers (included, no extra charge)
- •Unlimited range time with come-and-go privileges
- •One paper target; additional targets $0.25 each or 5 for $1.00
First-time visitors: You'll purchase a lifetime range card for $25 (one-time fee) and watch a mandatory 5-minute safety video before shooting.
Pistol Range: Carpeted benches with shooting rests provided. Brass-catchers on every bench. Completely covered firing line.
Rifle Range: Carpeted shooting surface, sandbags provided (replaced as-needed), ambidextrous benches with wire-mesh partitions between stations for safety and convenience. Adjustable stools and foam props with quick-change slots.
Clay Target Area: Nine commercial spring-loaded throwers launch clay targets about 40 yards in one direction. Single or double clay shooting available. Boxes of 90 clays cost $20; stacks of 15 are $5. You can bring your own targets too.
"Box Range": Separate stationary target area for pattern checking and test firing. Cardboard boxes available; bring your own or use theirs. First-time users get a range officer escort and safety briefing.
Weather-Proof: The firing line is covered end-to-end and equipped for night shooting October through March, so shooting continues regardless of rain or darkness.
