Rifle & Pistol Range - Outdoor pistol range with 10 and 15-yard target boards - 20 outdoor firing lanes at 50, 100, and 200 yards for rifle sight-in - No time limits, no rapid fire - Adults: $25 | Kids (17 and under): $15 - LTC classes available
Long-Range Rifle Course - Steel targets ranging from 250 to 800 yards - New shooters must qualify before using the range - Qualification required via email to [email protected] or [email protected] - $40 per session, open Wed-Sun 9am-6pm - Precision rifle instruction: $75/hour (2-hour minimum)
Shotgun Sports - Two 12-station sporting clay courses (nationally recognized) - One 4-station Super Sport course - Two regulation trap and skeet fields - All stations feature electronic controllers with adjustable time delays for solo shooters - 50-target course takes about an hour; 100-target round takes roughly 2 hours - Golf cart rentals available ($40) - Shotgun rentals: Beretta 12 or 20 gauge ($20 each)

Fossil Pointe stocks firearms and accessories with a quality-over-quantity approach. If they don't have what you're looking for in stock, they can order through their distributor. They also carry ammunition that meets their range specifications—shotgun shells (shot sizes 7.5, 8, 9; max 1 1/8 oz loads) and approved rifle ammo.
Range-Approved Ammo Rules - No FMJ, armor piercing, incendiary, tracer, sabot, subsonic, or steel core ammunition - No rimfire (22LR, 22 Mag, 17 HMR) - Rifle velocities capped at 3,200 fps - .223 limited to 600 yards with non-FMJ match ammo - No calibers larger than .338 (includes .50 BMG, Barrett, CheyTac)

Fossil Pointe hosts corporate team-building events, fundraisers, private parties, and weddings. They run leagues and offer memberships. Membership is required for sporting clays and trap/skeet starting February 4th, 2026. Check their event calendar or Facebook page for upcoming class days and times.
The Sniper Challenge competition runs November 8th, 2025 with sign-ups available on their website.

Eye and ear protection are mandatory for all shooters on any range. Fossil Pointe staff enforce strict range rules—failure to comply results in immediate removal from the property. Long-range shooters must use scoped rifles with marked, adjustable turrets (no red dots, open sights, or unmeasured holdovers). All shooters must know how to operate their firearms; staff will help if you ask.
