Marksman Range

Marksman Range is an indoor gun range in South Houston billed as the area's first indoor facility of its kind. Alongside range access, it runs a training program, firearm rentals, and a retail shop, including online sales and suppressors.

Ammunition is restricted by firearm type: rifles are limited to .223/5.56 as the largest caliber, and only frangible or subsonic rounds are allowed (no FMJ), while shotguns cannot fire steel shot or slugs. Firearms must stay pointed downrange and holstered or cased in the lobby, shooting is confined to individual stations, and no hand-to-hand or lane-to-lane transfers are permitted once a firearm is at a station. Eye and hearing protection are required throughout.

Marksman Range offers License to Carry (LTC) classes, with both in-person and online options, plus fundamental and basic instruction classes and shooting lessons by appointment. Shooters must be at least 8 years old, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
