Hammer Down Sports does custom gunsmithing and firearm coatings in Belton, Texas. Owner Jason Armstrong is a competitive shooter himself, so he builds guns for shooters who actually use them in matches.
- •Gunsmith Services - Action and trigger work, sight installation/removal, and custom builds. They work on:
- •CZ 75 series pistols (Shadow, Pre-B, B, Omega)
- •Canik and Tanfoglio pistols
- •Springfield XD/XDM, S&W revolvers and semi-autos
- •Glock, 1911/2011, AR-15/AR-10 rifles
- •Remington and Mossberg shotguns
Work starts at $65/hour (1 hour minimum, parts not included).
- •Cerakote Finishing - Full custom color packages on handguns, rifles, shotguns, and accessories. Pricing examples:
- •Handgun complete (one color): $170 | Two colors: $200 | Three colors: $235
- •AR-15/M4 complete (one color): $230 | Three-color camo: $400
- •Bolt action rifles, scopes, magazines, bipods, and accessories also available
$50 minimum on coating projects. Typical turnaround is 1-2 weeks after receiving the gun.
- •FFL Services - Transfer processing for $25 per firearm.
