Full description and what we offer
Tyler Bowler Hunting operates out of Veyo in southwestern Utah, built on three generations of big game hound breeding and hard-earned knowledge of the territory. Tyler himself is a fourth-generation hunter who's spent decades refining his pack and chasing everything from lions to elk across some of the emptiest country in the Southwest.
Cold nosed, light on their feet, fast, and built with the drive and grit necessary to hunt day in and day out.
Tyler's hounds are purpose-bred from his family's original strain. They're not just dogs—they're the foundation of successful hunts in rugged terrain.
| Hunt Type | Duration | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Big Game Hunt | 6 days | $7,500 |
Hunts happen on a mix of private ranches and public land across Utah and Nevada. Since Tyler is licensed in both states, he encourages hunters to grab tags in both. You'll cover serious country—hundreds of miles of it—using side-by-sides, horses, or boots depending on the terrain and prey.
They hunt hard every day regardless of weather or conditions. Rain, snow, heat—doesn't matter.
Most hunters fly into St. George, Utah. Las Vegas is only 1.5 hours away and often has cheaper flights. You can stay in town at your choice of hotel or in their hunting lodge on the ranch, 15 minutes north of St. George.
No shortcuts, no "let's sit and wait" days. Tyler's philosophy is straightforward: hunt hard, use fast hounds, know the country, and fulfill your hunt dreams by putting you on game.
