Full description and what we offer
Hunters for the Hungry operates a straightforward mission: collect donated venison from Virginia hunters and processors, then distribute it through food banks to people facing hunger across the state. No corporate speak, no overhead waste—just hunters and volunteers turning their harvest into meals.
The organization coordinates donations of field-dressed deer from individual hunters and participating meat processors. That venison gets distributed through their network to food banks serving families, seniors, veterans, and homeless individuals throughout Virginia. They handle the logistics while donors handle the giving.

Donors include individual hunters, processing facilities, corporations, churches, civic organizations, and farm bureaus across the state.
