Full description and what we offer
Black Creek Gun Club started in 1966 when founder Kay C. Young built the first range for personal use. What began as one range has grown into six: 100-yard, 50-yard, 25-yard, 15-yard, plus two reserved for training and special events. Four are open to members; two host private matches and events.
Kay's background—he operated Young's Gun Shop with full sales, repair, and custom building services for years—shaped the club's no-nonsense approach. This is a shooting facility, not a retail operation. You bring your own firearms, ammunition, and targets. The club supplies staple guns for backers and enforces safety relentlessly.
Situated near the intersection of I-295 and I-64, five minutes off the Cold Harbor exit. Convenient for both Richmond and Hampton Roads areas.
