01 // DETAILS
Full description and what we offer
Rose Hill Game Preserve sits on historic Rose Hill Farm, owned by the Ashby/Covington family since the 1800s. What started as family hunting grounds has become Northern Virginia's destination for serious upland bird hunting. The property itself has seen a lot of history—Confederate and Union occupations during the Civil War, farming through the decades—and now it's developed into a well-run preserve that actually feels natural.
"The staff is awesome and friendly!!! Love it! Highly recommended!!!" — Shannon Lurae
The guides actually care. Multiple customer reviews mention Dean, Manuel, and Michael by name—not because they're listed on a wall, but because hunters remember hunting with them. They work with youth hunters patiently, keep safety tight, and go out of their way (literally driving out to check on you during hunts) to make sure everyone's comfortable and having a good time.
The dogs are trained well. People specifically mention Lady and other pointers doing their jobs right, which matters when you're paying for a hunt.
