I was sad and frustrated to read about the shooting death of Aaron Prout, on in Houston, during what appears to be a

"gun game gone wrong" .  If what the article says is true and these guys were really shooting a rifle at each other indoors to test Kevlar helmets, it is so confusing and so, so stupid!   I'm not sure how someone would ever find this game as fun.  I have to wonder if drugs or alcohol were involved. There were obviously a lot of safe gun handling rules broken in this scenario, things like ALWAYS pointing the gun in a safe direction (hint:  your friend's head is not a safe direction).   But it is also confusing for several reasons: both shooters were military veterans and
