Own Beyer Barrels?
01 // DETAILS
Full description and what we offer
Clint Beyer started this company in 2006 after retiring from the U.S. Armed Forces. He grew up around machinery, worked with it most of his life, and knew exactly what he wanted to build: barrels that shoot.
His operation sits on Highway 101 South in Forks, Washington—a 40x50 foot production shop equipped with precision lathes, welding machines, cutting equipment, and the skill to use them. This isn't high-volume manufacturing. It's hand-crafted gunsmithing at scale.
Real-World Results: Field reviews show sub-.5" groups at 100 yards consistently. One builder reported "25 rounds inside a dime at 40 yards." Another: "dime sized groups at 100 yards" with a .17 HMR setup.

Beyer only takes orders by phone via credit card. Why? Because these are custom, detailed products. Clint talks through exactly what you need before building it.
Five Beyer Barrels products are in Brownell's catalog—one of the most selective retailers in the industry. The Ultralight Target barrel in .22 LR and .17 HMR appears on multiple pages with consistently high reviews from builders and varmint hunters.
"Brownells has a reputation for offering only the best products so the inclusion of Beyer Barrels in their catalog is in itself quite an endorsement of the quality." — Washington Arms Collectors GunNews Magazine, June 2012
Ultralight Bull Barrels: Recently added a new spiral flute design—the lightest bull barrel of its kind at just 11.6 ounces.
10/22 Take-Down Barrels: Now available in most profiles. Works with quick-change stocks for modular builds.
Williams Fire Sights: Accessory offering for 10/22 builds.
Thin Blue Line Barrels: Special run of 22LR barrels in patriotic colors. Beyer donates a portion of proceeds to Behind the Badge Foundation, which supports officers and maintains the Washington fallen officers memorial.
Beyer doesn't promise marketing speak. He promises .5" or better groups at 100 yards. He backs that with 7075 aluminum that's stronger than steel, proprietary liner installation methods tested with full-auto fire, and 17+ years of gunsmithing precision. You won't find every variation in Brownell's catalog. You'll find them by calling Clint directly.
