Full description and what we offer
Bison Armory started in 2008 in Seattle to serve one specific market: AR-15 enthusiasts running 6.8 SPC (6.8 x 43mm). Since then, they've relocated twice within western Washington—Bellingham, then to their current base in Washougal, in the southwest corner of the state.
This is a barrel and upper receiver manufacturer, not a typical gun shop. They produce:
6.8 BSP (Bison Subsonic Platform) — 2012 Introduced a 16" barrel with high twist rate designed to stabilize both their custom 200-grain subsonic 6.8mm bullets AND standard full-power 6.8 SPC loads. This dual-capability barrel was an industry first.
Fulcrum Line — 2015 Another industry first: heavyweight performance in a mid-weight barrel package. This is their answer to shooters who want precision without carrying full-weight steel.
224 Valkyrie Line — 2018 Expanded into the high-velocity 224 Valkyrie cartridge with configurations including 24" heavy barrels with railed or modular forearms.
Every rifle part and product sold by Bison Armory is manufactured in the USA. This isn't marketing speak—it's stated directly as a core principle. They explicitly note: "We do not cut corners on any products."
Their online store shows active inventory across all product categories. Sample pricing: - 16" SPR .223 Wylde (Factory Second): $149 - 20" Match Grade 6.8 Hunter: $450 - 18" Match Grade 6.8 Hunter: $450 - 16" Match Grade 6.8 Hunter: $440 - Spiker Service Rifle Free Float Handguard: $240 - 24" Heavy Barrel 224 Valkyrie Uppers: $595–$655 - 10.5" 6.8 SPC SBR/Pistol Uppers: $490–$530
They also run monthly sales and scratch-and-dent specials.
"We set out to deliver 100% confidence, knowing our clients operate with zero margin for error."
This philosophy drives their R&D and QA. They're not competing on price or flashy marketing. They're focused on shooters who need parts that work—reliably, accurately, and durably. The company motto says it all: Rugged. Reliable. Accurate.
