Full description and what we offer
Taylor Freelance manufactures precision firearm components from their facility in Bellingham, Washington. Founded over three decades ago, they've built a reputation focused on one thing: making parts that work under the stress of competitive shooting and daily use.
Taylor Freelance specializes in the "bottom" of the gun—magwells, magazine extensions, grip panels, and backstraps. Their product lineup includes:
Magwells & Magazine Extensions: - Glock magwells (sight blocks, extensions in +5, +10/12, +0 competition) - Canik magwells and basepad extensions (+4 through +9 capacity) - Walther PDP and PPQ extensions - SIG 320, 365, Xmacro extensions - CZ 75, Scorpion, TacSport extensions - AR-15 and AK platforms - Shotgun extensions (VR80, VR82 models)
Grip & Weight Modifications: - Brass backstraps for Canik, Glock, Grayguns, Walther - Grip panel master sets (small, medium, large) - Weight kits to reduce recoil and improve shot control - Slide rackers and mag release buttons
Materials & Customization: - Aluminum and brass construction - Custom color options available - Cerakote finishing available - Competition-grade springs from Wolff
If you break one of our parts, we will replace it for free. (Scratches and dents are not "broken"... they are signs you are using your firearm!)
All Taylor Freelance parts come with a no-quibble return policy. This isn't marketing—it's built on the fact that their components handle USPSA, 3-Gun, and daily defensive use without failing.
Competitors choose Taylor Freelance because the math is simple: quality parts save time in reloads and improve gun handling. A brass backstrap adds weight where it matters, reducing felt recoil and muzzle rise. Magwells eliminate fumbled magazine changes. Magazine extensions add legal capacity—27+1 on a Canik TP9 SF, or 21+1 on Rock Island platforms.
