The Port Angeles Gun Club is a premier trap and sporting clays facility located 6 miles east of Port Angeles, Washington. Established in 1926, it stands as one of the oldest trap clubs in Washington State and continues to serve the Olympic Peninsula shooting community with world-class amenities.
The club features multiple shooting disciplines:
- •Trap Shooting - Single trap (16 yard and handicap), Double trap (16 yard and handicap), and Continental trap (17 yard line with oscillating machines)
- •5-Stand Sporting Clays - 12 machines offering varied presentations including singles, report pairs, true pairs, crossing targets, incoming birds, rabbits, teals, and overhead presentations
The Port Angeles Gun Club operates three automatic trap houses (Pat Traps) with cordless voice-activated speakers on each field. The 5-Stand area accommodates shooters of all skill levels with game cards tailored to individual abilities. All equipment is maintained to professional standards.
Regular Schedule: - Wednesday & Sunday: Trap shooting 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Wednesday only: 5-Stand shooting 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM - Sunday: 5-Stand shooting 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The club offers both member and non-member shooting options with discounted rates for members and youth/FFA participants. Annual events include the July 4th Picnic, Labor Day BBQ, and Holiday Turkey Banquet. The Port Angeles Gun Club also hosts the Olympic Interclub Shooting Series in collaboration with five other Washington clubs.
With nearly 100 years of history, the Port Angeles Gun Club has hosted prestigious competitions including the Washington State Trap Shoot. The club is volunteer-supported and welcomes shooters of all skill levels to enjoy safe, competitive shooting.
