Bowfest brings together thousands of archers and music fans for a four-day celebration held at Mont du Lac Resort in Superior, Wisconsin. Set against the scenic backdrop of the St. Louis River Valley, this festival combines serious archery competition with live entertainment, food, and family activities.
Six Unique 3D Courses With over 100 challenging targets spread across six distinct courses, every archer gets varied shots and situations. Courses are designed to test skill at different distances and angles.
Night Shoots Under the Lights The legendary Nockturnal Night Shoots happen Thursday and Friday nights. Archers shoot at spotlighted targets under the glow of Mont du Lac's ski hill lights—a unique experience not found at typical ranges.
Competition Events
The OnX Hunt Steel One Arrow Challenge tests precision. Archers must hit steel targets at 22, 33, and 44 yards consecutively with one arrow each to qualify. Those who advance enter an intense shootdown starting at 50 yards, where targets move back 10 yards each round until one champion remains. Entry: $20 per attempt (attempt unlimited times, but qualify once only).
November and money shoots throughout the day give archers multiple ways to compete for prizes.
Live Music Each Night Three nights of live music performances. 2026 lineup includes Maiden Dixie, Chris Kroeze, and Pop Rocks.
