Full description and what we offer
ProCountry Auction Service runs firearms auctions that draw serious bidders. Their current sale includes 113 rifles, 36 shotguns, 42 handguns, and 240+ lots of ammunition, plus military collectibles. That's the kind of volume that makes it worth showing up.
Bidding happens online. Inspection happens in person at scheduled open houses (typically Saturday and Friday, 10am–2pm), or by appointment if those dates don't work. You bid online, place your bids, and if you win, you pick up at their Mondovi location.
Pickup windows are scheduled tight—usually three consecutive days after the auction closes, with morning and afternoon slots. All payments must be made before items leave the building. They take cash, cashier's checks, money orders, and wire transfers. Credit/debit cards work up to $500 (4% admin fee applies).
ProCountry holds an active FFL. All modern firearms require a background check (Form 4473) when you take possession, same as buying from a gun shop. Out-of-state and absentee bidders can have firearms shipped to an FFL dealer near them for transfer. Antique, black powder, and air gun sales may ship directly if your state allows it.
"Any firearm should be inspected by a competent gunsmith for safety, function, & proper ammunition type before attempting to fire."
They're clear about condition: firearms are sold AS IS/WHERE IS with no warranty for shooting. Ammo of unknown origin is sold for salvage or collectibles only. You're bidding on what you see—read the descriptions, ask questions before bidding, and inspect in person if you can.
