Fountain City Rod & Gun Club

Fountain City Rod & Gun Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality shooting facilities and firearm safety education to the Fountain City, Wisconsin community and surrounding region.

The club maintains comprehensive shooting facilities including:

• •Rifle Range - Equipped with permanent shooting benches and various target distances
• •Shotgun Range - Dedicated shotgun shooting area with target setup
• •Six-Station Duck Tower - Premium trap shooting setup for clay target sports

All ranges feature permanent shooting benches and organized target placement for safe, structured practice.

Shooting Sports: - Rifle marksmanship - Shotgun shooting - Trap shooting at the six-station duck tower

Education & Training: - Hunter Safety Courses covering firearm safety, hunting ethics, and wildlife conservation - Core competency instruction for new and experienced hunters

Community Engagement: - Annual membership programs with quarterly prize drawings - Conservation initiatives supporting wildlife management - Sponsorship opportunities for local businesses

The club operates on a membership model. Annual membership buttons are available for purchase at local area businesses in Fountain City. Members gain full access to all range facilities.

The range is accessible via the upper entry from Highway 95 (Baertsch's Valley Road), which reopened in November 2025. Detailed directions and a Google Map location are available on the club's website.
