Cody Firearms Experience runs an indoor firearms range in Cody where visitors fire modern handguns and rifles from makers including Glock, Ruger, Sig Sauer, Beretta and AR-15 platforms, alongside historic replica firearms spanning black powder, cowboy-action and WWII-era guns. The lineup includes an 1862 Gatling gun visitors crank themselves and full-auto machine guns such as the Thompson submachine gun, the FN P90 and the M16.
Staff lead every session with an emphasis on safety, and the range offers firearms training and courses along with membership options. Shooters age 8 to 11 are limited to the Gatling gun and .22 caliber; those 12 and older may fire any caliber offered, and full-auto shooting requires shooters to be 18 or older. The business also runs indoor ax throwing and a wildlife display on site.
