Full description and what we offer
Since 1990, Dream Lake Lodge has been operating out of Livingston, Alabama in the Black Belt region—one of the state's most productive hunting and fishing areas. This isn't a one-trick operation. They run deer hunts, fish tournaments, clay shooting events, youth camps, and corporate team-building outings all on the same property.
Deer hunting happens across approximately 6,600 managed acres. The Black Belt is known for producing trophy bucks, and Dream Lake's staff works year-round managing the land—laying mineral sites in spring and summer, planting iron clay peas, bean mixes, and corn to keep deer healthy and close by.
Hunting infrastructure includes elevated shooting houses ranging from 8 to 25 feet tall, carpeted with swivel chairs and 18" bench rests. They also have tripods, single ladders, and 2-man ladders throughout the property. Hunters can bring their own climbers if preferred.
Rifle Hunting Rates: - Two-Day Rifle Hunt (opening day through Feb 10): $1,650 per person (includes 1 buck, 1 doe, lodging, meals) - Three-Day Rifle Hunt: $1,595 per person plus $750 buck fee and $200 doe fee - All deer hunts include fishing access - 17" main beam minimum on bucks - 50% non-refundable deposit required; 3.5% fee added for credit card payments
Their 385-acre trophy preserve opened for booking in fall 2025, featuring rolling hills, creeks, hardwood bottoms, and pine plantations. South Texas and Northern Whitetail mix available in a wide range of classes. Hunts conducted from roomy shooting houses accommodating up to 4 people.

Quail hunts feature covey rises of fast-flying bobwhites from grass-covered pine hills, Egyptian wheat, corn, and grain sorghum fields groomed for the hunt experience. Tower pheasant shoots offer thrilling action for both experienced and beginner bird hunters—birds fly high and fast.
Dream Lake manages private lakes stocked with Florida Tiger and Northern Bass, forage fish (bream, threadfin shad, tilapia), and occasional rainbow trout and crawfish. Lakes feature hundreds of rock piles, flooded timber, ledges, ditches, and underwater aerators.
