Full description and what we offer
FOP Range opened in 1996 and has spent nearly 30 years building something different from typical Birmingham-area ranges. All seven outdoor ranges have covered shooter areas, so rain and weather don't shut you down.
- •Handgun Steel Plate Range: Twenty shooting stations with 162 targets at 10, 15, and 25 yards.
- •Rimfire Steel Plate Range: 216 steel plates designed specifically for .22 ammo—a setup you won't find anywhere else in the area. Take kids here without dealing with the noise from centerfire guns.
- •Main Range, Rifle Range, and more: Dedicated areas for different shooting styles, all maintained and staffed.
"We have hundreds of steel plates set up for you to ding on. (currently 386...)" — FOP Range
No trial memberships anymore. You join, attend a Range Safety Orientation (held every other Saturday at 10 AM, takes about an hour), then you're cleared to use the range whenever you want.
