Frank Proctor Shooting operates a personal range in Eastaboga, Alabama (near Talladega) that takes private and small group training only. Groups run 1-6 people, and courses are fully customizable based on your current abilities and what you want to work on.
Courses cover all practical applications of shooting:
- •Recreational shooting - flat-range fundamentals and skill building
- •Competition shooting - speed, accuracy, and match-prep drills
- •Combat/Defensive shooting - decision-making, movement, and threat response
You're not limited to one discipline per course—Frank tailors the day around what you need.
The range bay holds 50+ steel targets, so you can mix steel and paper targets throughout the day. The facility is covered and able to operate rain or shine, which means you're training regardless of weather.
Course schedule: - Start time: 9:00 AM Central - Finish time: Around 4:00 PM (full working day) - Available: Monday through Saturday (closed Sunday) - Multiple days available for extended training
Minimal gear requirement. You'll need:
- •Pistol and/or pistol caliber carbine (PCC)
- •Eye protection
- •Hearing protection
- •Holster
- •2-3 magazines
- •600-1,000 rounds of ammunition
