Full description and what we offer
Goose Haven Canada Outfitters sits at the boundary between Saskatchewan's northern forests and the prairie pothole region—the first major feeding area for waterfowl migrating south across North America's largest migration corridor. This geography matters: virtually all land north of them is provincial forest, which means the rich farmland where they hunt is where the birds naturally concentrate.
Their approach is straightforward: thorough scouting finds where the birds are feeding that day, and that's where you hunt. You'll hunt a different location each day based on bird movement and conditions. The guides have access to thousands of square miles and maintain strong relationships with local farmers, which gives them flexibility and permission to hunt where the waterfowl actually are.
The numbers speak for themselves: One guest killed 76 ducks in 46 minutes. Multiple repeat visitors from Alabama, Louisiana, and Alaska.
The Riverside Lodge sits on the edge of the forest line near the confluence of the Beaver and Meadow rivers. A large Ducks Unlimited marsh project nearby attracts wildlife right to the property. When you're not hunting:
Guides are skilled, knowledgeable, and professional—most have years of waterfowl hunting experience. The operation includes a chef and support staff focused on making the hunt successful and the experience memorable.
"Everything about your operation is first class! This was my third time traveling to Canada to hunt geese and ducks. I have to say this was the best." — Jodie, Louisiana
