FOP Range operates central Alabama's most complete shooting facility. Every shooting position is covered—no rain, no excuses. The range stays open 7 days a week (9-6 weekdays, 12-5 Sundays) and closes only on Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Two membership structures let you pick what fits your budget:

Central Alabama has ~20 shooting options. Here's what separates FOP Range:

Steel plate shooting. Most ranges have paper targets and maybe a few steel gongs. FOP Range has 160+ steel plate targets on the pistol range and another 200+ on the dedicated .22 LR range. If you train for speed or accuracy feedback, steel plates beat paper every time—instant hits, no walking downrange.

Dedicated .22 range. No mixing .22 LR shooters with centerfire pistol shooters. Your .22s stay on their own range with hundreds of steel plates. This prevents damage to equipment and keeps costs low for high-volume shooters.

All covered positions. Every shooting spot has overhead cover. Hoover Tactical and Cullman Shooting Sports have nicer buildings, but FOP Range never closes because of weather.

Wholesale ammo. Members buy ammunition at cost. For frequent shooters, this alone pays for membership.
