Trinity Defense is a family-oriented firearms training company built on the principle that gun ownership comes with the responsibility to train properly. Their instructors bring extensive backgrounds from law enforcement and U.S. military service.
They focus on simple, proven tactics designed to give shooters confidence in defensive situations. Training runs from beginner to advanced levels:
- •Defensive Handgun I (1 day, 6-8 hours) covers fundamentals for new shooters:
- •Firearms safety and types
- •Marksmanship basics
- •Weapon manipulation (malfunctions, reloads)
- •Drawing from concealment
- •Legal considerations for carry
- •Defensive shooting drills
- •Weapon maintenance and storage
- •Defensive Handgun II (intermediate level) focuses on tactical employment:
- •Stair-stepped shooting program with realistic time and accuracy standards
- •Individual shooting plans developed for each student
- •Close-distance handgun employment
- •Drawing and shooting while moving (rear, front, lateral)
- •Shooting around cover
- •Challenging and covering opponents
Trinity Defense now offers specialized courses designed exclusively for the law enforcement community.
